From it's small beginnings in Wynberg in 1990, Truval Manufacturers has grown in leaps and bounds to become a strong, disciplined and well controlled organization situated in the Johannesburg Metropolis at 5th Floor Truval House, 124 President Street, Johannesburg.
It also forms and plays an integral part of the Steiner Group of companies, which involve both property, investment trading and security companies in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Eighteen years down the line the corporation is headed up by Daniel Steiner, who not only has strong entrepreneurial flair but has been instrumental in the growth and success of the corporation, which is now recognized as an innovative, reliable, quality driven clothing supplier into the South African markets.
He is supported by an experienced, sizable, young motivated team of designers, administrators and operational staff.
Truval's original drive was the supply of a 'Value-for-Money' range of outerwear clothing apparel to the lower income market. The major concentration of business was originally conducted with independents and whole sale outlets in South Africa and neighbouring states.
Since those early days, the product lines have expanded and currently cover outerwear, underwear, sleepwear, footwear, hosiery and accessories, with sales being made to a wide range of small stores, mini-chains and many of the major leading clothing retail stores in South Africa. Variety and up to date trends are maintained and introduced by extensive overseas travel and continued global sourcing.
The corporation has developed a variety of it's own labels, which over the years have become well recognized in the market for delivering 'True Value'.
Truval has a wide spectrum of products and many capable factories, both locally and abroad, this allows Truval uncapped capacity in terms of styling and quantities.
The principle of providing 'True Value' will always be associated with the corporation.
